An active stay, specially created for young and old who are eager for an active family holiday, with an introduction to fly fishing on Skye, a mountain bike ride in the mountains of the Wester Ross region, an exploration by 4x4 vehicle, a log crossing by sea kayak to approach a famous castle, an introduction to falconry....

BRUSSELS – EDINBURGH

When you arrive in Edinburgh, you take delivery of your rental car. Then you can walk quietly around Charlotte Square, along the parallel streets (Georges Street and Princes Street), discover the wonders of the National Gallery of Scotland, have lunch in Old Town or do some shopping (tartans, cashmere, whisky...) along the Royal Mile... Calton Hill is the ideal place to enjoy the view of the Scottish capital at sunset.

EDINBURGH - SKYE ISLAND

You take the road towards the island of Skye, crossing the superb landscapes of the Highlands where castles like Inveraray are hidden. After a few hours of driving, you finally cross the famous bridge that connects the mainland to the island of Skye. The next morning, you leave for an introduction to fly fishing. Enjoy your free afternoon to discover Skye, the largest island in the interior Hebrides, with its wild landscapes and picturesque villages. In the north of the island, you can visit the mythical Dunvegan castle and its gardens, which are undoubtedly worth a visit.

SKYE ISLAND - WESTER ROSS

You return to mainland Scotland, to head towards Torridon through the most beautiful scenery on the west coast of the Highlands, in the Wester Ross region, renowned for its beautiful coastal and mountainous landscapes. Drive carefully on the small winding and often deserted roads: you could fall at any time nose to nose with a deer or cross the mythical Highland Cattle! Along the way, discover the "Attadale Gardens", a beautiful estate of about twenty hectares rich in flower beds, Japanese gardens, waterfalls, sculptures... The Wester Ross region is rightly famous for the splendid bicycle rides it is possible to do. We therefore suggest you discover it throughout a half-day guided mountain bike tour, which offers you fantastic views and makes you discover Loch Damph, the Balgy Falls, the famous "Torridon Loop" and "Beinn Damph Loop" (highly technical mountain bike tours).

WESTER ROSS - CAIRNGORMS

Today, you are heading towards Cairngorms National Park, which extends into the mountain range of the same name. At the foot of the massif, it is a Scotland that is still forested, but already more rural than you discover yourself, a region where you can also find the largest distilleries in the region. You stop in Plockton, a charming little fishing port with its houses in close rows facing the sea. In the afternoon, you will discover the coasts. This is the opportunity to admire Eilean Donan Castle, probably the most romantic in Scotland with its stone bridge, on an unusual sea kayaking trip. Have a little luck; you might see otters, seals, one or the other eagle.... The next day, you will visit Blair Castle, home of the Dukes of Atholl since the 13th century, where you can discover the collection of weapons and armour, period costumes and paintings... A real treasure of Scottish heritage! You also have the opportunity to discover the landscapes of forests, rivers and peat bogs in the surrounding mountains, by 4x4 vehicles, under the guidance of an experienced guide. It is the opportunity to take out the cameras, to immortalize an encounter with a majestic stag, an observation of a golden eagle...

CAIRNGORMS - EDINBURGH

On the way back to Edinburgh, we offer you an introduction to falconry in the Perthshire area. Upon your arrival, a professional welcomes you and introduces you to this practice for two hours. A quite unique experience... You finally reach Edinburgh in the early evening, for your last night on Scottish soil.
